Brent
You may be familiar with Brent Supply Teaching Service (BSTS), a bespoke recruitment business working for Brent secondary schools established in 2001 by a group of Brent head teachers. The service has proved to be a considerable success within the authority, having the support of the local council and a loyal following from Brent secondary schools.
Brent Supply delivers permanent and temporary teaching staff solutions to most of the secondary schools in the region, including special educational needs schools, colleges, faith schools and outreach organisations. For several years Brent Supply has been asked to provide a service to other local authorities within close proximity to Brent. In May 2011, Brent Supply merged with Smart Teachers, and now have the capacity to roll out this service to other authorities and to extend it also to the primary sector.
For Candidates We work closely with a wide range of primary and secondary schools within Brent and the surrounding regions. We offer great rates of pay for qualified teachers and support staff looking for day-to-day, short term, long term or permanent positions.

For Schools We have a database of qualified teachers and support staff from the local area supported by good local knowledge. We have a dedicated team who will get to know you and the school, and who will provide a competitive and efficient service tailored to meet your specific needs.
This is a unique model which we would like to extend to benefit all schools, not just those within Brent. We specialise in candidate recruitment and selection for primary school vacancies, all key stages, and secondary schools, all subject areas. We also cater for support roles and special needs.
In addition, we are pleased to offer, at no charge, advice and support on school safeguarding issues and also the new Agency Worker Regulations, which took effect from 1st October 2011.
