Congratulations to Kirsten Spence for winning the Golden Smartie Award!
Kirsten was nominated by Lara Tehabsim, PA to the Headteacher at Cippenham Primary School. Lara gives her reasons behind the nomination:
“Kirsten joined us in December to take over a class that had seen frequent teacher turnover. On arrival she immediately began to raise standards in the group and the pupils in her class continue to make strong progress. Kirsten is a dynamic teacher and an integral part of her year team, of which the leadership staff value highly. Kirsten has made a really positive impact over her short time at Cippenham Primary School and we look forward to her continuing to encourage pupils to aim higher and produce work to the best of their ability.“
Having being nominated by the school’s PA, it goes to show Kirsten has made a good impression on the whole school. To gilt her achievement, we surprised Kirsten whilst teaching and presented her with a certificate and £50 cash prize.
Well done Kirsten and thank you for being an exceptional teacher!
