All hail Natalie Bell, our happy shiny Golden Smartie for February 2016.
Without reservation, Natalie was nominated by The Pointer School, where she has been teaching Year 3 since September 2015.
Natalie is certainly a very worthy winner! She is smiley and conscientious, and very popular with the staff, parents and children alike. She is confident and knowledgeable and her senior management team were impressed with her execution during open evening especially last term, when she had only been with the school a short amount of time.
It’s always uplifting when we receive a Golden Smartie nomination from a school, but what makes this nomination extra special is the glowing endorsement received from the parent of one of Natalie’s students.
“My daughter has rediscovered her love of learning this year and her increased confidence and consequent progress has been a direct result of Miss Bell’s dedication and high expectations. Most notably, my daughter has made significantly improved progress in mathematics and regularly writes Miss Bell thank you notes for giving her additional extension questions for homework. These notes are addressed to “Miss Brilliant Bell”.
This has been combined this term with a real love of learning for my child, for which we would like to thank Miss Bell.”
Smart consultant Bianca Venmans had the utter pleasure of gate-crashing the school assembly, where she joined the Head Teacher in announcing “Miss Brilliant Bell” as our Golden Smartie. She received a certificate of recognition, along with a cheeky little cash prize of £50 to spend on something frivolous.
Miss Brilliant Bell, be our valentine!
