David Edwards, M.Ed, B.A
In 2017 David was recognised as one of ‘Asia’s Top 100 Innovative CEOs’. He is a noted thought-leader across the Asia-Pacific region, with a specific focus on the future of education, school innovation and unique models of student entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Wesley College in Melbourne, where he currently works as Head of Campus, David spent 15 years working in leadership roles across Asia. During this time, he helped plan and launch the $250 million Academy, and led the introduction of the Primary, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes of the International Baccalaureate. The school was externally recognised as a leading international school in Singapore in 2016. David has extensive experience leading large teams within progressive educational environments that cover all aspects of innovative curriculum design, student welfare and school improvement initiatives.
Dr Stephan Muller, MA (Cantab), MPhil, PhD (Cam)
Growing up in Italy, Germany and the UK, Dr Muller taught for seven years at Uppingham School, founded in 1584. After three years of being the Senior Boarding Headmaster there, he was soon appointed to Haileybury, Australia’s largest school and winner of the School of the Year from the National Education Awards. In 2018 Dr Muller took on the role of Deputy Principal Staff Development, One School and International Engagement, where he directs all academic recruitment and professional learning at Haileybury in Melbourne and contributes to the leadership operations in Darwin, China, the Philippines and Timor Leste.
Perry Anderson, M.Ed
With a passion for quality education and teacher’s rights, Perry has over 30 years teaching and leadership experience plus twenty-five years’ experience as a Guidance Officer. His first teaching job presented him the rare opportunity of being Principal of a single teacher school in NSW. From there his career took him to a range of educational settings in Queensland including low socio-economic areas, highly remote places such as Cape York and Special schools. Perry has been a board member of the Queensland College of Teachers, chair of the Professional Studies Committee, chair of the Registration Committee and an executive member of the Queensland Teachers Union.
