Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint an experienced DT teacher who has a proven track record of teaching across Key stage 3 - 4. This post is particularly suitable for a newly qualified or experienced teacher teaching across Key stage 3 - 4.

An adequately qualified and experienced DT teacher is required to start from September 2022 at an Ofsted “Good” school based in Haringey.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of DT Teacher you will:
- • Relevant specialist experience and qualifications in your subject specialism with the ability to teach at Key Stage 3 – 4
- • Able to teach Product Design and Resistant Materials
- • Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)
- • Possess recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- holding Qualified Teachers Status
Key responsibilities
As DT Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Teach subject(s) across the full age and ability range
- Ensure tasks challenge and motivate pupils and offer high levels of interests
- Plan for, and make best use of, teaching assistants and success ambassadors to support learning.
- Participate in cross-curricular developments relevant to the curriculum area
