About the school
This is an amazing primary school featuring a inclusion unit for children who have struggled to manage in mainstream school.
- EYFS and Primary Provision
- A maximum of eight students in a class. Classes are matched in terms of peer relationships and ability.
- On-site school psychologist, behaviour coordinators, speech and language therapist who work collaboratively with all staff.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary SEMH Teaching assistant you will:
- Graduates who have specialised in Psychology, special needs or social and emotional health
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team of teaching staff and educational psychologists.
- You will be organised, patient and confident, with a sound understanding of the key issues currently affecting young people
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Background in Education or Care.
