About the role
A mainstream primary school in Hackney are looking for 3 SEN Teaching assistants to work in their reception classes supporting pupils with SEN on a 1-2-1 basis
Your responsibilities will include-
- Working on a 1-2-1 basis with a pupil in reception with SEN
- Working alongside the class teacher ensuring the pupil is receiving the support needed
- Being able to identify the pupils needs throughout the day
- Support the pupil with their social, emotional and academic needs
You will-
- Have experience working with children with SEN/ Learning difficulties
- Be able to work full time Monday - Friday 8:30 - 16:00
- Be proactive, be able to work off your own initiative and be able to work collaboratively as a team
- Have a calm manner and a positive attitude
- Be a patient individual

The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who have a strong passion for supporting children in education with special needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Reception SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children
Key responsibilities
As Reception SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the teacher and assist SEN pupil with their learning
