Smart Teachers is recruiting for SEN LSA and Special Educational Needs Learning Mentor to join a special school for students with complex needs close to Twickenham.
About the role
- Learning/Teaching assistant to join a special school for students with ASC and complex needs close to Twickenham
- Due to the nature of the classes in school, the SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Educational Needs TA must have experience of working with children/adults with Autism and severe learning difficulties.
- Opportunities for Permanent appointments are often available at key points of the year for recruiting.
- Working hours are 0830-16:00
- Full Time/ Part Time Roles available
About the school
- A Special needs school for students with complex needs including, PMLD, SLD, SpLD, and Autism.
- As with all learners at the school, therapies such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Music Therapy are incorporated into the learners' day based on their individual needs.
- Accommodating learners from EYFS-Post 16,
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Special Needs Learning support assistant you will:
- Experience of supporting SEN children or vulnerable adults
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Working with a broad range of needs within a Special Needs School setting or similar.
