Special Needs support staff are required to join a large team of staff within a large additional resource provision (ARP), on a full time basis
About the role
- To support key children with both diagnosed Special Educational Needs, and those currently undergoing a diagnosis
- To provide personal and intimate care when called upon
- Work alongside teachers and support staff collaboratively to ensure each child receives the specialist attention required
- Children within the provision will fall within both the Key stage 1 and 2 age bracket.
- Full time , five days per week, 0830-1530

- Supporting children with Communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health, and sensory/physical needs
- Graded 'Good' by Ofsted, with a strong focus on whole-school inclusion
- Commutable from Upney and Becontree station
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Special Needs Support Assistant you will:
- Experience of supporting childen with Austism and Learning difficulties
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience of Supporting Primary aged children with Special Educational Needs
