Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a full time teaching assistant to work at one of London’s leading independent girls’ day schools in Ealing on a 1-year fixed term contract.
About the role
- The role is for a September start and will be for the whole academic year
- The ideal candidate will be flexible and happy to work in different year groups across Key Stage 1 when and where extra support is needed.
- Working hours are 8-4 Monday to Friday during term time
- Duties of the successful candidate will include:

Break time supervision
• Taking children to lessons off site
• Displays in classrooms and around the school
• Preparing teaching materials as instructed by class teachers
• One-to-one and small group learning situations
• Some routine marking of tests
• School trips, visits and after school clubs

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Gap Year Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have experience supporting primary age pupils
- Be flexible, adaptable and proactive
- Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience supporting primary aged pupils
