Early Years Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for Early Years Teaching Assistants to join a large primary school in Sudbury.

About the role

• Full time role, starting ASAP until July 2025 in the first instance (hours 08:00-15:30pm)
• Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging lessons to the whole class.
• Providing tailored support to individual students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Using your experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to implement strategies that promote learning and development.
• Experience working in an early years setting in desirable

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Years Teaching Assistant you will:

• Experience working in early years and with SEN is desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Hold an enhanced DBS
