About Smart Teachers

Smart Teachers has specialised in placing great teachers, support and leadership staff in temporary and permanent roles across London and the Home Counties since 2005. We’re part of The Edwin Group and work closely with our sister companies (ABC Teachers, Vision for Education and Commando Joe’s) to make a positive impact in education.

Our approach to doing business is different to most of our competitors. We don’t focus on setting endless performance and sales call targets - we prefer our staff to concentrate on developing close working relationships with teachers and schools to ensure we understand their needs.

What I love most about working at Smart Teachers is the people I work with and the freedom to find a way of working that works best for me. You feel a real sense of accomplishment at the end of the day knowing you’ve done your utmost to make a difference.

Daniel Uwaifo,

I feel the most supported and appreciated I have ever felt at work! My colleagues encourage me and celebrate my successes with me, and I with them. They are all lovely people with a real passion for what they do and always approach work in a very positive, ethical way. I have never felt so happy to go to work.

Rachel Ridout,
Trainee Consultant

I have worked at Smart Teachers for just over 7 years. We really care about our candidates, schools and internal staff. We invest a lot to help candidates secure their ideal job, and provide internal staff with CPD opportunities to support career development. There is a family feel within the office and the people can’t do enough to help each other.
