Graduate Teaching Assistant - Barking and Dagenham

We are looking for a graduate who has a passion for working with children and is looking to take their first steps into a career in education to join us working as a Teaching Assistant.

About the role

You will be working in a mainstream primary school in Barking and Dagenham supporting pupils in Year 2

This is a full time role so you will be required to work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00

Your roles will include:

• Supporting the class teacher when needed throughout the day
• Supporting the pupils with their work
• Helping to prepare lessons
• Carrying out 1-2-1 and small group sessions
• Supporting pupils with SEN

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant - Barking and Dagenham you will:

• Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Must be a graduate

• Provide support for the class teacher and assist pupils with their learning
