Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Newham

Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Start Date: September 2024

About the role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education, assist with lesson planning and preparation, and work closely with students to support their learning and development. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are considering a career in teaching or education.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant you will:

  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
  • Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • A recent graduate with a 2:1 or 1st class degree, passionate about education and working with children
