Graduate Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for graduate Teaching Assistant for a variety of roles across in primary schools across the borough of Brent

About the role

• Mixture of short-term ad hoc cover and full-time roles available
• Candidates must be degree educated, no previous experience working with children required
• Working hours generally 8.30-15:30pm
• Range of roles/work available including general Teaching Assistant work and supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis

• School located across borough of Brent and surrounding boroughs
• Mixture of stare and Independent schools
• Most schools have a Ofsted rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
• Can result in permanent contract with schools
• Opportunities for in-house teaching training for the right candidates

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant you will:

• Be a quick learner, who is passionate about working with children

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Hold an enhanced DBS
