We are looking for teaching assistants who are wanting to work on a part time basis to work with our partner primary schools on a supply basis, in the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.

Hours are 08:30 - 16:00

Work with schools around the boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth

PAYE, no umbrella companies

About the role

Working as a part time Teaching assistant means you have flexibility on the days you are wanting to work. You inform us on the days you are free for work, and we offer you work on these days where available.

- Part time Teaching assistant

- Mainstream primary schools within Tower Hamlets (and surrounding areas)

- General TA and/or SEN TA work (within mainstream primary schools)

- 08:30 - 16:00

You should-

- Have experience working as a TA or working with children

- Be able to travel around Tower Hamlets and/or Hackney and be happy to work in different schools daily

- Be comfortable working with all year groups within primary schools (preferences considered)

- Be able to work off your own initiative and be punctual

- Understand schools have different needs and won't all be the same, and therefore be able to adapt to different environments quickly

About the school

All schools are mainstream primary schools.

Schools expect supply staff to be punctual, organised, have strong behaviour management skills and be flexible.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Part time Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools you will:

  • Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
  • Flexibility to travel around Southwark and Lambeth

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Prior experience working with children.
