About the role
You’ll be working with small groups of young people aged between 10-18 years old who require specialist provision within a small school setting.
The hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm, however this can vary as dependant on your day.
Preferably you would have Team Teach training, however this is not a essential.
About the school
The school is in Waltham Forest and caters for around 50 students with Social, Emotional, and/or Mental Health issues (SEMH). The school has incredible facilities including state of the art Kitchen and Music studio. As students reach the age to leave school, they have access to the onsite construction area which allows them to prepare for apprenticeships and take on jobs after their school life.
The school are very committed to their staff’s wellbeing, which is why they have a councillor specifically allocated to the staff.
The nearest tube station is only 10 minute walk and easily accessible.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEMH Teacher you will:
- You must have experience working with SEN learners
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- You must have QTS or PGCE
