A specialist all-through school in Hillingdon, West London are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to support young people and children with Severe Learning Disabilities.
About the role
As a SEN you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met. You will be responsible for supporting their educational, social, and emotional development
About the school
The schools offer day and residential provision to students with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will:

- • Have experience of working with those with SEN needs
- • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- • Be someone who is patient, caring and adaptable to each young person you will support
