Teaching Assistant - Year 4

Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' school in Clapham to work across both year four classes, in a two form entry primary school.

About the role

• Teaching Assistant required to work in Year 4, splitting time equally across both classes.
• To work with alongside both class teachers to support learning of year 4 students, including small group interventions and in class support.
• The school are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is patient and able to follow clear strategies to assist children's learning.
• Children with mild special educational needs in both classes who will require extra support during lessons, experience with SEN children preferred.
• The role is an ASAP start and will be for the duration of this academic year.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant - Year 4 you will:

• Hold and enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Experience working with children in a school setting
