Smart Teachers is looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join our trainee teaching assistant programme. This programme is for people wanting to start a career in education with no previous experience needed.

About the role

  • The programme is comprised of a paid placement in a school and online training.
  • You will be assigned a consultant to support you through the training and to answer any questions you might have.
  • Both ad hoc and long term work is available within primary schools in Hounslow and surrounding boroughs
  • Hours are 08.30-15:30pm

Placement schools located across Hounslow - including Feltham, Hounslow and Twickenham

Schools have good transport links and many schools have parking available

Schools may provide additional training for successful candidates

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant - Hounslow you will:

  • 2 professional references
  • apply for an Enhanced DBS

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • No previous experience required but must be able to obtain 2 professional references for the last 10 years
