KS1 Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' school in Acton, starting at Easter 2025

About the role

• Teaching Assistant required to support a child in Year 1 child on a 1:1 basis
• Role is full-time, 08:30-15:30pm , ASAP until July initially
• Supporting a child in Year 1 with ASD; he needs someone who can model the right behaviours, help him remian on task and access the curriculum
• School seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is patient and able to impose consistent expectations

• 2 form entry primary school in Acton, Ealing
• School has been graded as 'Good' with children being judged to make excellent progress due to high quality teaching provided
• School has a community feel that runs through the school with parent English lessons offered
• School has onsite parking and is a 10 minute walk from tube stations.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of KS1 Teaching Assistant you will:

• Two recent references
• Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• No experience in schools needed
