Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced Admin Assistant at a lovely mainsteam school in an easily accessible location in Southwark.

About the role
This is a long-term Admin Assistant role which will commence as soon as possible until July 2022. This position will be full-time, and working hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm or 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
- Undertake reception duties, answer routine and complex telephone and face to face enquiries, as well as signing in visitors
- Maintain the schools manual and computerised records/management information systems, such as SIMS database, searching pupil data records, producing reports and mail merge labels and inputting data
- Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties, looking after sick pupils, liaising with parents/staff etc.
- Undertake typing, word-processing and other IT based tasks to include: letters to parents, bulletins, reports, (maintaining confidentiality at all times)
- Provide general administrative support for the school e.g. photocopying, filing, complete standard forms, diary management
- Have previous administrative experience in an educational setting (ESSENTIAL)
- Be the first point of contact for all visitors to the school
