Smart Teachers is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator to support the pastoral systems of a thriving and inclusive East London secondary school.
About the role
The Role:

Lead and coordinate pastoral administrative systems across the school.

Provide daily support to senior leaders, Heads of School, and pastoral teams.

Manage student records, safeguarding files, and parent communications.

Oversee admin for key events including parents’ evenings and census returns.

Act as a key point of contact for families, students, and external agencies.

Ensure records on MIS and safeguarding systems are up-to-date and accurate.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Senior School Administrator (School Based Experience Mandatory) you will:
- Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS)
- The ability to remain calm, flexible, and professional in a busy school setting
- A collaborative, conscientious and proactive approach to team support
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
