Smart Teachers are working with a well-established and inclusive secondary school in North London seeking an experienced Attendance Officer to join their pastoral team on an ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.
About the role
As an Attendance Officer, you will play a key role in improving and maintaining high levels of student attendance across the school. You will work closely with pastoral staff, senior leaders, and families to support students and remove barriers to attendance.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Attendance Officer you will:
- Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer or in a school admin/pastoral role
- Strong knowledge of school attendance procedures
- Experience using SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
