About the role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising whole classes across KS3–KS4 using pre-prepared lesson materials

Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies

Ensuring a calm, safe, and productive learning environment

Taking attendance and reporting any issues to relevant staff

Supporting students with their work where appropriate (no planning or marking required)
This role requires:

Confidence managing a classroom independently

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Reliability and punctuality, with availability to start just after 8:00am
