Requirements
The desired Creative Arts Teaching Assistant will have:
- A desire to work in Special Educational Needs Schools supporting pupils with barriers to learning, additional learning needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- A warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils
- A creative arts background that you can incorporate into schools
About the school
A rapidly growing maintained secondary special school for pupils aged 11 to 19 with Moderate Learning Disabilities and associated complexities. Our positive learning community incorporates pupils, families, professionals and a dedicated team of experienced staff, who are committed to, and passionate about, the learning and progress of the pupils.
The School are looking for people with a Creative Arts background to use your skills and knowledge supporting children in a school environment. You will build positive working relationships with pupils and utilise your knowledge of creative arts to help them to get the most out of their time in education. As a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant you will get a feel for working in schools and gain valuable experience for a potential future in a role working with children.

To be considered for the role of Creative Arts Teaching Assistant you will:

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- DBS on the update service
