We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Principal in a busy and dynamic school environment. This is a pivotal role requiring excellent administrative skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
About the role
As Personal Assistant to the Principal, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Principal’s office. You will be responsible for managing a complex diary, coordinating meetings, and acting as a key point of contact within the school.
The role is due to commence from 27th April, with a handover period available from the week commencing 20th April.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Principal’s diary and inbox
- Preparing documentation and papers for meetings
- Taking minutes during weekly SLT meetings (until 5:15pm on Wednesdays)
- Liaising with staff, students, and external stakeholders
- Drafting and typing correspondence
- Providing general administrative and organisational support
Working hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm, with a later finish of 5:15pm on Wednesdays.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Personal Assistant to the Principal ( Head's PA ) you will:
- Proven experience working as a Personal Assistant (essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Experience using SIMS (desirable but not essential)
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Confidence working in a fast-paced school environment
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role
- Experience working within an educational setting is desirable
