Personal Care TA

Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a large and thriving secondary academy in East London

About the role

• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with additional learning needs.

• Working under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.

• Providing in-class support, small-group work, and one-to-one assistance where required.

• Contributing to the development of inclusive classroom practice.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Personal Care TA you will:

• Experience supporting students with SEND, EAL or other additional needs (desirable but not essential)
• A positive, proactive approach to supporting learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
