We are seeking a proficient and experienced Premises Assistant to join our exceptional academy in Tower Hamlets This pivotal role requires an individual with prior experience specifically within a substantial secondary school setting.

About the role

* Assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of the premises, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
* Conducting routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
* Collaborating with the facilities team to coordinate repairs and improvements.
* Overseeing security procedures and maintaining a vigilant approach to ensure the safety of the premises.
* Supporting with the setup and coordination of school events and activities.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Premises Assistant you will:

  • Previous experience as a Premises Assistant within a large secondary school environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating strong organisational skills
  • Flexibility to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic educational setting
  • Proficiency in performing general maintenance tasks

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • a term of relevant experience within a secondary setting
