? Location: Barking, East London (short walk from Barking Riverside Station)
? Salary: £37,000 - £54,000 per annum
? Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm | Full-time | Temp-to-Perm

About the role

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about teaching in a non-mainstream environment and embrace the unique opportunities provided by a special school setting.
  • Demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach, using creativity to deliver inclusive, engaging, and inspiring lessons.
  • Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS).
  • Have experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND, gained through Initial Teacher Training (ITT) or other opportunities.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with complex needs and learning difficulties

Exciting SEND Teaching Opportunity in a Specialist Setting

We’re proud to be working with a rapidly growing SEND school in Barking that specialises in supporting children and young people with Autism. This forward-thinking school is relocating to a brand-new, purpose-built provision—just a 5-minute walk from Barking Riverside Station.

As part of their expansion, the school is seeking passionate and dedicated SEND teachers to join their team across a range of settings:

  • Early Years

  • Key Stage 1 (KS1)

  • Key Stage 2 (KS2)

  • Key Stage 3 (KS3)

  • Sixth Form

These are long-term roles with strong potential for permanent placement for the right candidates.

Role Highlights:

  • Start: Immediate and upcoming vacancies available

  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Salary: Paid to scale

  • Payment: Weekly via PAYE – no umbrella companies

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS/QTLS
  • Experience within a specialist setting
