We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants with prior experience in working with children with additional needs and learning difficulties in Hammersmith and Fulham. You will be playing a vital role in supporting pupils and helping them integrate through mainstream classes, break/lunch times and involvement in school events.
About the role
The job will require you to work 1:1 or in small groups, adapting activities and supporting access to the curriculum.
-You will need previous experience working with children with high needs.
-Ability to observe, record progress or issues, and feedback appropriately.
-Be skilled in spotting gaps in learning and intervening.
-Be able to focus on each pupils personal development and behavior alongside classroom based support.
-You will be required to support and work with the teacher and assist pupils in and outside the classroom.
-Full time role within KS1-KS2

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

As SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assisting pupils from all backgrounds with personal development
- Be able to work as part of a wider team, perhaps across classes or collaborating with other staff.
