Smart Teachers are recruiting a committed and experienced SENCO to join a large, inclusive secondary academy in East London from January 2026
About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing SENCO team to lead, manage and develop SEND provision across the campus, ensuring that all students with additional needs receive the highest quality support and learning opportunities.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SENCO you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
- Proven experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
