Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to support a large and inclusive secondary school in East London.
About the role

Coordinate and supervise internal exclusions and the school's reintegration provision.

Mentor students returning from internal exclusion, supporting personal development and academic progress.

Collaborate with pastoral leads, SEND teams, and external agencies to create tailored support plans.

Maintain accurate records using school systems such as My Concern and SIMS.

Contribute to improving behaviour, attendance, and engagement among identified students.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Behaviour Mentor you will:
- Experience or knowledge of reintegration or behaviour support is desirable but not essential
- The ability to remain calm, confident, and flexible in a busy school environment
- English, Maths, and Science GCSEs (Grade C or above)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
