Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a Science Technician to join a highly successful and well-resourced secondary school in Ilford, East London.
About the role
The Role:

Support the science department in preparing materials, equipment and chemicals for practical lessons across KS3–KS5.

Maintain and manage lab stock, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols (CLEAPSS guidelines).

Assist during practicals when required and help ensure the smooth running of science classrooms.

Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking team with a strong reputation for academic achievement

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Science Technician you will:
- Previous experience working in a science technician role is desirable
- Strong knowledge of safe lab practice and an interest in supporting teaching and learning
- Good organisational skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable Tech experience
