About the role
The Role:

Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in City & Guilds Level 1 Construction, covering areas such as basic carpentry, brickwork, painting and decorating, and health & safety.

Plan, prepare and assess learners’ progress in line with awarding body criteria.

Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence.

Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team to support students with varied learning needs and behavioural challenges.

Are you passionate about vocational education and making a difference in the lives of young people? A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Construction Teacher to deliver City & Guilds Level 1 Construction to a small group of students in a specialist setting within Brent.
This is a pupil referral unit (PRU) that provides tailored support and education for students who require an alternative to mainstream schooling. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment, can build positive relationships, and is committed to helping students achieve meaningful qualifications and develop essential life skills.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Construction Teacher you will:

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
