Smart Teachers are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Mathematics to join a high-achieving secondary school in Haringey
About the role
The Role

Deliver small group Maths interventions, including Entry Level and GCSE support

Provide targeted support for students with SEND, EAL and those requiring additional challenge

Lead on strategies to build student confidence, motivation and achievement in Maths

Work collaboratively across Mathematics and Learning Support teams

Support enrichment, mentoring and wider school initiatives

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Maths HLTA you will:
- HLTA qualification (or willingness to complete in post)
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths (STEM-related degree or A-level desirable)
- Experience working with young people aged 10–18
- A passion for supporting inclusion and student success
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable HLTA experience
