About the role

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ SEN Secondary School, based in Kensington and Chelsea are looking to appoint a passionate RE Teacher to teach RE on Thursday and Friday morning.

About the school

This RE Teacher vacancy is part-time and long term. Working hours are from 11-12.30 on a Thursday and 9.30-11 on a Friday. There are small class sizes of 6 to 8 students per class with additional support staff in each class. There are 6 classes here, with a strong emphasis on support.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of RE Teacher (SEN Secondary) you will:

  • Experience of working with SEND pupils
  • A passion for the progress of Secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), or the equivalent qualification
  • Passionate, engaging, proactive approach to working in schools – we’re really looking for people who are keen to make a difference to the lives of SEND pupils.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to get one
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), or the equivalent qualification
