Smart Teachers are currently working with a Primary School based in Kensington and Chelsea who are looking for part-time Teaching Assistants to work with them from January 2026.
About the role
The role will be ongoing - starting in January and will last till the end of the academic year, with a potential to move on to the next academic year.
You will have to work and support the Class Teacher in a KS1 year group.
You will also be required to support SEN pupils in a mainstream classroom setting.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to support both teachers and pupils
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with Primary School pupils
Key responsibilities
As Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting pupils’ understanding
- Support children’s emotional and social development, helping to build confidence and independence.
- Follow school safeguarding, health and safety, and behavior policies at all times.
