Partner primary schools in East London are looking to appoint SEN Teaching assistants to work with them on a full time basis.
Monday - Friday
08:30 - 16:00
PAYE, we do not use umbrella companies
About the role
We are looking to appoint SEN Teaching assistants for mainstream primary schools across East London.
This will be across different year groups in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and therefore your preference will be considered.
You will be working with pupils with SEN on a 1-2-1 basis supporting them in the classroom throughout the day.
You will-
-Be supporting pupils with their learning where needed
-Be able to identify pupils needs throughout the day
-Work with the class teacher and SENDCO to support the pupils learning and adjust work where needed
-Follow pupils routines throughout the day
-Support the class teacher when needed, and work collaboratively with other members of staff
About the school
The schools expect their support staff to be able to work collaboratively, be flexible, be able to work off their own initiative and be punctual.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistants you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service
- Be able to work Monday-Friday
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
Key responsibilities
As SEN Teaching Assistants you will be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils in the classroom throughout the day
- Working with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure the pupil is receiving all the support needed
- Providing feedback to staff, monitoring progress of the pupil
