We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Haringey
About the role

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
- Plan and implement an inspiring curriculum that promotes computational thinking, problem-solving, and coding skills.
- Use a range of teaching methods and resources to engage students of all abilities, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Prepare students for national exams, including GCSEs and A-Levels, with strong subject knowledge and exam preparation techniques.
- Contribute to the development of extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or tech competitions, to enhance students' learning experience.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Computer Science Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- Ability to inspire students and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a minimum of a years experience working within a mainstream secondary school
