Cover Supervisor

Smart Teachers are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of well-established secondary schools in London Borough of Redbridge

About the role

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work

• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons

Opportunities are available for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and longer-term placements

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:

• Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Confident leading a classroom independently
• Flexible and adaptable approach

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable school based experience
