KS2 Primary Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our thriving primary school in Greenwich, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a dynamic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils in Years 3 to 6.

About the role

As a KS2 Teacher at our school, you will:

• Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of learning and cater to the diverse abilities and interests of pupils in Years 3 to 6.
• Support Student Progress: Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and using data to inform your teaching strategies.
• Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create a classroom atmosphere that is inclusive, supportive, and conducive to learning, where all pupils feel valued and motivated to succeed.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
• Engage with the School Community: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, and contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extra-curricular activities and school events.
• Commit to Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, benefiting from our robust CPD program and, if applicable, a structured ECT induction with dedicated mentor support.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of KS2 Primary Teacher you will:

• Strong Pedagogical Knowledge: A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies to support diverse learners
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents, fostering strong relationships and collaboration
• Commitment to Inclusion: A dedication to ensuring every child has access to an excellent education, with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Enthusiasm and Creativity: A passion for teaching and a creative approach to lesson planning that engages and challenges students

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have QTS and experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2
