A well-established independent school is seeking an experienced and highly organised SENCO to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting after May half-term.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the school’s SEND provision, ensuring students receive the appropriate support and guidance to thrive academically and personally. The role would suit a highly organised and proactive SENCO who is comfortable working independently and managing all associated paperwork, documentation, and access arrangements.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SENDCo you will:
- Previous experience working as a SENCO
- NASENCO qualification desirable but not essential
- Independent school experience preferred
- Experience supporting students with ASD and ADHD
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Key responsibilities
As SENDCo you will be responsible for:
- Lead SEND provision across the school
- Manage and review EHCPs
- Support students with ASD and ADHD
- Coordinate and oversee access arrangements
- Complete all SEND documentation and paperwork independently
- Ensure compliance with SEND policies and procedures
