Smart Teachers are recruiting a Teacher of Psychology and Sociology for a welcoming secondary academy in South East London (DA18 area). Starting in September 2026, this part-time role is available for 2 days per week, with 3 days available for the right candidate. The successful applicant will teach Psychology and Sociology across KS4 and KS5.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Part-Time Teacher of Psychology and Sociology you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Psychology and/or Sociology at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for their specialism.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Psychology and/or Sociology within a secondary school setting.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
