A high-performing secondary school in East London is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Science Learning Mentor to join its dedicated team
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Science graduate considering a future career in teaching or education.
Working closely with the Science department, you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to raise attainment, build confidence and encourage a passion for Science. You will deliver targeted interventions, provide in-class support and work with small groups and individual students to help them achieve their full potential.
This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Graduate Science Learning Mentor you will:
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related Science subject
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to motivate, inspire and build positive relationships with students
- A proactive, organised and professional approach to work
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
