SEN TA

Smart Teachers are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in East London on a full-time, long-term basis.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN TA you will:

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Have experience delivering interventions and adapting learning to meet individual needs.
• Be confident supporting pupils with communication, cognition and learning needs
• Have a patient, nurturing and consistent approach
• Be passionate about helping pupils build confidence, independence and life skills
• Have a primary education or specialist SEND background (desirable)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable SEND specialist experience
