You will work alongside the class teacher and wider support team, helping to implement appropriate strategies and ensuring pupils are able to participate fully in school life.

  • Adapt activities and resources to make learning accessible.
  • Encourage pupils to participate fully in classroom and wider school activities.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

About the school

The school is a friendly and inclusive primary school with a strong commitment to ensuring that all pupils receive the support they need to succeed. The school places a particular emphasis on creating a positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to develop their independence. Staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality support for pupils with a range of additional needs, with a strong focus on helping children make meaningful academic, social and emotional progress.

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND.
  • Experience working within a primary school environment.
