We are looking for a talented and adaptable Supply Teacher to join our team at a school in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced teachers or NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) who are looking for flexible work in a supportive and welcoming environment.
About the role
As a Supply Teacher you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of year groups, covering for teachers on leave or absent. Your role will be to ensure continuity of learning, maintain high standards of teaching, and support the school’s ethos of inclusivity and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
- Adapt to different year groups and subjects as required, ensuring continuity in teaching and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the class teacher, while also adapting lessons to suit the needs of the students.
- Provide feedback on student progress to the relevant teachers and leadership team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Ensure safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Supply Teacher you will:
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning.
- A flexible, adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to work across different age groups and subjects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, and parents
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQTs are welcome to apply)
