Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Media and Film Studies to join a forward-thinking and creative department in a thriving secondary school based in East London. This is a full-time, permanent position to begin in September 2025.

Full-time classroom teacher of Media and Film Studies.

Teach a mix of GCSE and A-Level (AQA/BTEC) courses depending on experience.

Contribute to curriculum development and the delivery of high-quality schemes of work.

Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes through effective planning, feedback and intervention.

Play an active role in extra-curricular opportunities linked to media and film production.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Media & Film Studies you will:
- Holds QTS and a degree in Media, Film, or a related subject
- Has experience teaching Media and/or Film Studies at KS4 and ideally KS5
- Possesses strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning
- Has a passion for contemporary media, digital storytelling and student engagement
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
