Smart Teachers are seeking to appoint a SENDCo for a fixed-term contract starting after half term.
About the role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead on the strategic development of SEND provision within the school
- Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the needs of all learners are met
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy
- Be committed to inclusive practice and raising achievement for students with additional needs

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SENDCO you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or currently working towards the qualification
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
- Ability to lead and manage staff effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold QTS
